FREDRICK N. SLOCUM's Obituary
Fredrick N. Slocum, 72, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007. A native of California, he served in the Army and was a Supervisor at Kaiser Steel and California Steel for 42 years. In 2006, Fred was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty. Survivors include two sons, Michael and his wife Jeannie, of Oceanside, and Raymond and his wife Linda, of Redlands; four grandchildren, Andy, Michael, Stephen and Matthew and his wife, Kammy, all of Oceaside; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kendra, Leina and Cameron. Viewing will be held Friday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. and services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Interment will follow the service at 2:16 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, staging area #7
