Almost a year ago I heard of Franks passing. Remembering times with my close friend Shari Myers and the guy I was dating at the time going downtown to dance and have so much fun... Frank was so quiet and peaceful .in nature kind to everyone not a bad word to say about anyone! I will miss him though we have not seen each other in so many years memories never go away!!

Although I only knew Frank recently, I could tell from his energy he was a good man. I enjoyed his company and humor and will miss him.

Hi Frank,
I remember my first day of work at the Press-Telegram on April 16, 1980 at 2am. When I arrived, Shawn was putting out your mail and Piboon was making the coffee. Everything seemed to be so clean and orderly for a newspaper distribution office. Even that big stack of paper work on your desk seemed to work. By the time you arrived the truck was just pulling out and most of your carriers had already arrived and were folding their papers. It was fascinating to watch the Vietnamese families up in the middle of the night with grandma, kids, and babies all along with dad folding papers and getting ready to deliver their routes. The sing-song effect of so many languages being spoken that night along with the laughter, and the kids crying made me to understand something. Your crew needed you, and I needed you too. You welcomed me like I was your best friend that morning and I knew that I had nothing to dread. The carriers and their families filed out and quite soon it was quite silent at District 14. You didn't say much to your carriers that morning, but it seemed everyone knew what you wanted and were trying their best to get it done. I was surprised that as the last carrier left in that old car that barely ran, all that was left from that giant truck full of newspapers was a stack of 20 neatly folded papers on the bench. After a brief explanation of the operation, it was 6am and the sun was starting to come up. You asked me if I wanted to go to breakfast. Shit yes, I want to go to breakfast. At breakfast, I found myself doing most of the talking and was comforted by your constant listening and laughing eyes. When you spoke, you always had something to say. That's how it went for the next 30 years. Your crew needing you, and me needing you too. You never failed us, not once. I just hope you are waiting for me when I arrive at your new district station, then I'll know there is nothing to dread.

He was and always will be the greatest man I know. He loved anyone and everyone and helped when and where he could. He is a strong soul that will truly be missed. Uncle Frank was an awesome man, he was very compassionate and tenderhearted. Uncle Frank loved his family and friends so much without conditions you just enjoyed being around him, he could always bring a smile to your face. Frank, you came to the Press Telegram about the time I started working as a Home Delivery Manager. I enjoyed your wonderful sense of humor, and when I left working in the field, you were one of the people that taught me so much about database management, and how to learn more. When my husband, Mike, was told he broke down and cried, he admired you so much. Your family will not be the only ones to miss you friend. See you with a pool cue in your hand some day soon.

I am so very sad by Frank's passing, he was my manager in the early 80's. He was just a very nice person, he always had a smile whenever I saw him... He was a good man. Cheri Lonberger
