Mr. Frank Avila's Obituary
Frank Avila, 84, passed away at his home in Colton on November 15, 2012. Frank had lived in Colton for over 50 years. He proudly served his country for three years in the United States Navy. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 45 years.
Frank married the love of his life Carmen Garcia in 1950 and they lovingly raised 4 children. He was an original member of Trio Los Curevos and played with them for over 50 years. He was well known for training horses which he then rode in local parades.
He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph, his wife Carmen and his son Frank (Bosco).
He is survived by his children, Diane Contreras, Geraldine Avila, Dino (Carolyn) Avila, and his brothers Thomas and Tony. Also surviving him are his 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
