Mr. Francisco "Frank" Gutierrez's Obituary
Francisco (Frank) Castro Gutierrez passed away at the age of 75 on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at his residence in Highland, CA surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Antonia Gutierrez both of San Bernardino, his 2 sisters, Felicitas Salas and Carmen Escarazaga both of San Bernardino and son, Frank Anthony Gutierrez of Highland. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dionisia “Denise” (Manzano) Gutierrez of Highland, 2 sisters, Rita Tucar of San Bernardino, Cruzitia Atkinson of Oceanside, CA, brother, Robert Gutierrez of San Bernardino, 2 sons, Thomas Gutierrez of San Bernardino, CA and Mark Gutierrez of L.A., CA, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Frank was born and raised in Meadow Brooke (San Bernardino) where he attended and graduated from Pacific High School. He worked for the city of San Bernardino. He then began his 30+ year career with American National Ins. Co. at the age of 21 to retire as Regional Director where he gained so many friends. In retirement, he assisted his wife in her career as a real estate agent. He met his wife, Denise at an Art Loboe show in 1958 where they immediately fell in love to later marry and have 3 sons. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with funeral services on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. also at Bobbitt’s. Private interment at a later date.
