Frances L. Litten's Obituary
Frances Litten, 93, a resident of San Bernardino for 48 years, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 23, 2006 at her home. She was a salesperson and buyer for J C Penny and Emery Bird’s in Kansas City and a homemaker to her family. She was a strong believer in our Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. In her teen years, she played the organ for church services and later was involved in the women’s church socials. She especially enjoyed visiting the elderly. She made many sacrifices in her life for her children, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Raymond, and her oldest son, Donald, both in 1993. Survivors include: Three sons, Vernon Wood of Mineral Point, MO, Gerald Wood of Warrensburg, MO and Larry Pool of Corona; a daughter, Andrea Orona of San Bernardino; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Thursday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m., both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton.
