Floyd Dennis Smith's Obituary
Floyd Dennis Smith, 82, passed away on August 2, 2011 at Redlands Community Hospital. He was a successful owner and operator of Smith’s Colton Flowers for over 36 years. He was born in Whittier, California, and a resident of Rialto for the past 44 years. He was past president and active with the Kiwanis Club of Colton, and a member of the Rialto Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda, and three children, Karin Irene Vaughn of Chandler, Arizona, Dennis Bell of San Diego California, and Philip Bell of Rancho Bernardo, California. Also surviving him is his sister Katherine Nichols, Colton, California along with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Merle.
A chapel service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 10:00 a.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, following by interment at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California.
