Faye Joyce Marcey's Obituary
Faye Marcey. Born June 13, 1934 in Wisconsin, passed away September 4, 2011 in Redlands, CA. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father and is survived by her brother; Al Marcey of Casa Grande, AZ.
Faye Graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1952 and from Arizona State University in 1956. She taught School in Coolidge, AZ for 3 years before moving to San Bernardino where she taught until her retirement in 1991. Her last 24 years of teaching were at Belvedere School in San Bernardino.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Women’s Club of San Bernardino, California Retired Teacher’s Association and was a life member of the National Education Association.
Faye traveled widely but after retirement spent many years caring for her ailing mother.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel 1299 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church 1900 N. “D” St., San Bernardino, CA with a private interment at Mt. View Cemetery in Casa Grande, AZ.
