Just now I saw the Obituary , I am from Brasil and went to California in 1989 as an international student . I went to work as an student assistant in the automotive department and Ernie was the lead mechanic and Denis Stover was the supervisor , I worked there with them for 3 years and Ernie and his family were like a family to me .When I graduated he made a party for me at his house . Terry my sincere condolences , I wish that I had the chance to see Ernie again before he passed away .

To Theresa and family, Doug and I would like to express our condolences to Theresa and her family. We didn't know Ernie like most of the people who were at the rosary did, but we knew him well enough to appreciate what a good person and man that he was. All the beautiful testaments that we heard at the rosary were so loving and heartfelt and sincere. You Theresa and Ernie raised a beautiful family and Ernie left a legacy of putting God first, family second and job third. Our condolences to all of the Paramo family in the loss of Ernie. I personally had many years knowing Ernie while we worked at Cal State University San Bernardino.. A Happy go lucky guy with always a smile and humor in his conversations. We used to ride share in "Old Yellower"!
He wanted the staff at Facilities to know that he was the Master "Hispanic Mechanic" Adios for now brother Ernie.,
