ERNEST - GAINES's Obituary
Ernest Gaines, 76, passed away at The Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Loma Linda on June 4, 2008. Originally from New Mexico Ernest has lived in the San Bernardino area for over 28 years.
Ernest was a retired Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force where he served our country for 27 years. He also owned a Real Estate office in Rialto, CA and was a broker for over 20 years.
Libby his loving wife of 55 years survives him. His son Michael of Rialto, CA, his sisters Mildred and Edna and his brother Leroy, many nieces and nephews along with special neighbors and friends also survive him
A visitation will be held Tuesday June 10th at 5 p.m. with a funeral service on Wednesday June 11th at 9:45 a.m. both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518, Staging Area # 3.
