In this crazy time of staying at home during Covid-19, I have a few extra moments to go through memories.
I have many cards and remembrances from friends. I came upon a few cards from my friend Eric. While I have thought of him over the years, as we lost touch many years ago, this is the first time that I actually took a moment to look him up. I am shocked and so very saddened by realizing the loss of this sweet man. He was always so kind, so good to me, and so sweet. He was fun to talk to and be around. He was a regular of mine at TGI Fridays and I would see him daily. Once I stopped working there and moved, we lost touch. You miss those from your previous life but never more so than knowing you will never have the opportunity to tell them what they meant to you.

I love you Eric, and I will miss you. Thank you for brightening my days and being so sweet and kind. You were special to me then and you are still, now. I will never, and could never, forget you.

Gave another friend to the angels....Eric Windegger, gone but never forgotten our friend. We have been friends since I was 18/19 years old (almost 12 years). All the memories of hanging out at photos hoots and studios all talking, joking, and having fun, you were always a joy to be around. Such a giant teddy bear! Miss ya my friend and I wish I could go to your services in California, but you will always be in my heart. You totally reminded me of those old West movies with your handlebar mustache hahaha gone but never forgotten. Rest in paradise my friend.

My own condolences to the Windegger Family for your loss. I can't remember when I first met Eric, but I he was a character. We had a lot of laughs and good times at shoots we both were at, talking about a ton of different things...times that I now will miss.

Great guy Eric was... I've known him for over 20 years... came to several of my Select Models photoshoots. I shared his love for glamour photography, NHRA and Chevys. He came over to my house a few months ago in his new Camaro. We talked about studio and location photography. Gonna miss this guy... Godspeed Eric!
