I was Efraim's teacher's aid while I was in college majoring in education in 1987 and 1988. He was on my mind tonight and I googled his name to find that he had passed. He was a wonderful teacher who taught me a lot. He truly loved his students and I will never forget his kindness.

I knew Efraim long ago when I was also a member of the Presbyterian Church. My maiden name is Marjorie Hindes. Efraim sang at my wedding in 1963, as he did for many other youth in the church. I will always remember his smile, ready laugh and general kindness. My sincere thoughts and sympathy are with Joan and his family.

I was so sad to hear of Efraim's passing. My family lived next door to him on Cypress Ave in Redlands. Even though it's been so many years since that time, I still have very fond memories. My parents ( Wayne & Maxine ) would get together with Eph & Joan , get all dolled up and go to dinner & dancing. Even though I was a little older than Kathy we spent a lot of time together just hanging out. Those were very good times. My heart goes out to the family.
