Edmond J. Miller's Obituary
Life began for the late Edmond John Miller on July 8, 1934, born to Margaret and Walter Miller in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He passed from this life on February 14, 2012 at St. Bernadine’s Hospital in San Bernardino, California. He entered the Air Force on September 10, 1954 and served for 28 years. During that time he served in the Vietnam War earning a ribbon for Expert Marksmanship, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He received the following medals, badges, and citations: Bronze Star Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with 3 devices, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 6 devices, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 6 devices, Good Conduct Medal with 1 device, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with 5 devices and Small Arms. He ended his services with the Air Force September 30, 1982 as a Senior Master Sargeant. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Angelina,; a son Richard, and three daughters Marisa “Renee,” Rondallyn “Ronnie,” and Kimberly “Kim;” eight grandchildren Kumandae, Larry, Kenya “Corrie”, Ramaud, Taurean, Shauntae, Samuel “Sammie,” Bryce; great-grandchildren Allona, Niyah, Khaaliq, Anageon, Amira, Zahir, Sahara, Kumandae’s children; step-daughter Pamela; and step-granddaughter Laila. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. To his family, Edmond Miller was Love.
