I just hung one of Dorothy’s paintings on my wall and was reminded she was so kind to me when I was a young child some 50 years ago. She was my mother’s friend. Kindness remembered for half a decade is as much a legacy as fine art.

My folks and our family lived on the other side of the block of Harold and Dorothy (behind their home) and we remember enjoying back in the day both families growing up as neighbors. My dad and mom would speak to your mom and pop offen while working in the back yard. Dorothy and your dad will now be together forever. My beautiful Aunt. You hold a special place in my heart that no one else ever will. For those of us that you left behind we will forever have the memories. Heaven now has a beautiful angel and is a better place with you there. You were an amazing woman. An amazing Mom, Grandma, Sister and Aunt. You were not JUST my Aunt. You were my FRIEND also.
