Dorothy M. Bates, 83, of Waterman Canyon, San Bernardino, CA; passed away on Saturday, in Apple Valley. She is survived by her children, Gary Bates of Hesperia, Elana Wilbourn of Aberdeen, S.D., Linda Smith of Oak Hills, Greg Bates of San Bernardino, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Jesse Murphy and a sister Jewel Burke both of AZ. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Montecito Memorial Park, Barton Rd. and Waterman Ave. Colton, CA. Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
