Doris B. Spoor, 1918 - 2010
Doris Spoor, 92, of Redlands, California, passed away June 13, 2010 at Plymouth Village in Redlands, California.
She was born May 24, 1918 to Arno and Roy Fanning in Barnard, Missouri. They moved to Maryville, Missouri when Doris was 3 years old. Mrs. Spoor graduated from Maryville High School in 1936. She attended North West Missouri Teachers College in Maryville for two years. She married Terrill L. Spoor April 23, 1938 in Savannah, Missouri with the service conducted by the Reverend Loomis.
In 1939 they came to San Bernardino, California and lived there until they moved to Plymouth Village in Redlands in 1977. Doris worked at Norton Air Force Base while her husband served in the Army.
They belonged to the First Christian Church in San Bernardino until they moved to Redlands. Doris is a member of the First Baptist Church of Redlands. Mrs. Spoor was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be at Plymouth Village, Thursday, June 17, at 2:30 p.m.
