DONNA JEAN MENKVELD's Obituary
Donna Jean Schubert-Menkveld Passed away at the age of 80 years with her family at her bedside on August 15, 2007. She was the ninth of ten children born to William and Edna Fuller in Snyder, Nebraska on August 12, 1927. She was baptized on May 20, 1948. She passed away a faithful servant of Jehovah God and was preceded in death by her daughter Paula Weeks and her granddaughter, Stacey. She is survived by her siblings: Athel Fuller of Chadron, NE, Evon Ashberger of Orondo, WA, Morris Dean Fuller of Ridge Chest, CA, and her son Bill Schubert, daughter-in-law Lynda Schubert with whom she lived with for the past two years in San Bernardino. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michael John Weeks, Anna Reichardt, Natalie Gorges, William Gorges, Sunshine Hernandez, Billy Schubert II, and Cinamon Schubert. Donna is survived by her great grandchildren listed here from the oldest (15) to the youngest (5 months): Melody Weeks, Tabitha Hernandez, Natalyn Gorges, Kimberly Gorges, Joey Reichardt, Autumn Hernandez, Heather Gorges, Kamille Reichardt, and Madalynn Weeks. Donna was a hard working clerk at Thrifty Drug Stores for thirty years. However, her most prized times were spent with her family. She was well known for her cooking. Grandmother’s most famous recipes were her fried chicken, chocolate chip cookies, and most recently her pineapple upside down cake. Grandma will be dearly missed even though we all look forward to seeing her soon when the earth becomes a paradise and we are all able to greet her again. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel at 1299 E Highland Ave., in San Bernardino. Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 26993 9th Street in Highland on Saturday, August 25th at 4:30 pm.
