DONALD EDWIN STEWART's Obituary
Donald Edwin Stewart a 55year resident of San Bernardino passed away at the age of 77 at the Reche Canyon Convalescent on Friday, September 28, 2007. Donald is survived by: his daughter Terry Stewart-Izen and her husband Scott, his son Rob Stewart and his wife Erin, and three sisters, Wanda, Linda, and Barbara. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan, Brett, Courtney, Jillian, and Claire. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52years, Barbara Ann Stewart. Donald owned Don’s Furniture on Mt.Vernon Street in San Bernardino for 45 years. Don loved to dance and collect cars. He also was very generous as a person. This was evidenced by how he celebrated seasonal holidays by donning the appropriate costume and donating treats to local Senior Centers, Lighthouse for the Blind, and other charities. A Vigil service will be held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm with a Mass at St. Adelaide’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, October 4th at 10:00 am. Interment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside
