Donald Ross McAlpine's Obituary
Donald R. McAlpine, 78, passed away September 25th, 2011 at home in Riverside. Born in Montreal, Canada, Donald was a resident of Riverside for 7 years and a past resident of Rialto for 38 years. In the 60’s he worked as a Millwright for Kaiser Steel and was the Owner of Martin Industries Electric Vehicle Sales & Service in Bloomington for 36 years. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Highland. He was a former member of Sunrise Church (Rialto Community Baptist) and belonged to Rialto Rotary Club. He worked in the Christian Service Boy’s Brigade in Canada and Rialto for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda McAlpine; 5 children, Donald Ross McAlpine of Fort Myers, FL, Cheryl McAlpine of Fort Myers, FL, Krista Aanonson of Cypress, Greg Harrington of Yucaipa, Randy Harrington of Glendora; Sister, Patricia Ann Baguley of Covina; 10 grandchildren, Grace, Lily, Connor, Holly, Brittany, Sondi, Nick, Kirk, Tyler, Cody; 1 great grandchild, Eliza.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland. Private family Graveside Services were held at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton. Condolences may be sent on-line at www.bobbittchapel.com.
