Dolores Fisher's Obituary
DOLORES FISHER, M.D.made her transition on December 4th of 2010, at home in San Bernardino,
CA. Dolores was born in Knoblesville, Indiana, to parents, Marguerite and Harry Fisher.
She is survived by her brother, Donald of Santa Paula; her sister in law, Aldina Fisher of San Diego;
nephew, Fred Fisher, Esq.; and his brothers of Seattle, WA, and Las Vegas; nieces, Rebecca Fisher, Atty., Austin, TX, and Donna Fisher of MO..She grew up and attended schools in Berkeley, CA, a
graduate of U of Berkeley, CA, and Medical School in Glendale, CA, now the UCLA Irvine School of Med
icine. She studied acupuncture in it's introduction to the U.S., in Hong Kong and France. She lived in Downey for many years, later moving to Los Angeles, and to San Bernardino. She fell in love with the Craftsman Homes in LA, and restored more than one completely to their original beauty. Dolores built her own office Bldg., and was proud to serve the East Los Angeles and Monterey Park Community for 36 years. She was exceedingly proud of the excellence of the specialists whom she preferred her patients. She and they had staff privileges in the local hospitals. She retired in 1992.
Dolores traveled extensively throughout the world, loved gardening, reading, and rehabbing homes.
Memorial Service will beheld at Center for Spiritual Enrichment - Unity Chapel, Sat. Jan. 8, 2011, at 11:00A.M., 6767 Del Rosa Ave. -
San Bernardino, CA 92404 - Inurnment to follow at:Forest Lawn Cemetery, Covina, CA.
