Diane Lynn Isaacs' Obituary
Diane Lynn Isaacs, 73, of San Bernardino passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2019 at Creekside Care Center in Yucaipa, California.
Diane was born on June 15, 1946, in Chesterton, Indiana, the daughter of Guy and Berniece (Flitter) Rhoda. In 1954, Diane and her family moved to San Bernardino, California. She graduated from Pacific High School in 1964. Diane was married to James Vandegrift on May 15, 1965 for 27 years and had two sons, Bryan and Jeffrey. She married Douglas Isaacs on May 28, 1994 for 11 years.
Diane was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her mother, Berniece Rhoda of San Bernardino, California, son Bryan Vandegrift and wife Nikki Vandegrift and grandson Dominic Vandegrift of Menifee, California and granddaughter Addison Vandegrift of Rancho Cucamonga, California, son Jeffrey Vandegrift and wife Lisa Vandegrift and granddaughters Kelsey and Breanna Vandegrift of Apple Valley, California, brother Richard Rhoda and wife Shirley Rhoda of Hacienda Heights, California, and nephew Paul Rhoda of Whittier, California
Diane is preceded in death by her father Guy Rhoda and her husband Douglas Isaacs.
The funeral service will be held graveside at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday October 31, 2019 at Mt View Cemetery of San Bernardino, California. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino, California. Diane will be laid to rest on her grandmother, Dora Flitters (born 1892) birthday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer’s association, https://www.alz.org/ or charity of choice. The family of Diane Isaacs wishes to thank Bobbitt Memorial Chapel and Mt View Cemetery.
