Joann, Mike and family,
My heartfelt condolences to all of you on the passing of Dennis. As you know we spent many days during the shuttle from the shop to the courthouse and it was one part of my week that I looked forward to. I know that your loss is much more profound and my prayers are with you. With sympathy, Toby Bowler
There are no words that can ever explain a friendship of over 71 years. Denny and I lived six houses apart. He lived at 125 H Street and I lived around the corner at 2nd and H. We not only went to the same schools, we had the same classes in the same grades at Washington Elementary School, Lytle Creek (when Washington closed), Richardson Junior High School and San Bernardino High School. At Richardson, Dennis was an outstanding football and basketball player, and at San Bernardino, he was my brother in the Condor’s Hy-Y Club. But most of all, Dennis and his beloved brother Don worked really, really hard. At twenty owned their own business, the #1 car detailer in the Inland Empire. Don was our protector. If Denny and I ever got into trouble, and couldn’t handle it, we just mentioned Don’s name and the trouble went away. For Dennis and Don both their priority was always their family…family first and then taking care of their friends… was next. They were two of the most loyal people you would have ever wanted to have as your friends. Denny and I shared the same Flag Day Birthday, June 14th. We will miss our dear, dear friend Denny, but your dog “Freckles” and my dog “Smokie” will be happy to see you again! Love, Your Brother Jack!
RIP to our dear friend of over 40 years and the best auto detailer EVER!
He will be missed by our entire family. Our prayers are with Dennis's family. My wife, myself & our daughter always enjoyed visiting with Dennis as much as having our vehicles detailed.
