So sorry to hear of the passing of Denis. Just looking through old stull to organize since wife passing August 7th, 2016. Found a valentines card from Denis to me when i was about 7 years old living a couple doors down on Stansbury Ave in Van Nuys. Wondered why i have not heard from Denis in a while as we had been swapping old stories and memories of the Stansbury gang. Prayers are with the family.
Have not heard from Denis if a while. wondered why. Lost my wife August 7, 2016 and gong through old pictures and stuff. found a valentines card from Denis that he sent when we lived on Stansbury Ave in Van Nuys. Was going to send him a scanned copy for "old times sake". So sorry to learn the reason i have not heard from him in a while. prayers to the family from me.
My love and thoughts to the Bishton family. I knew your dad and mom when they lived in Running Springs. They were true friends and I thought the world of them and, I like to think, vice-versa.
They were so supportive when I started my weekly newspaper in R.S. and then continued it, so to speak, when I moved to Highland.
How lucky all you family members are. They were wonderful, fun, funny, devoted, dedicated people. I was so lucky to call them my friends.
Sending love and warmth to you all, I have an online news blog and will be posting this as soon as I'm through with this sentence. I know many people in Running Springs will be saddened to hear this news but also happy in some ways because they're together again for eternity.
