I'm posting this for my mom, Lynnette Knight. She recently went on to the heavens and I'm sure she's with Deloris now. My Mother really loved your mother. She tried for many years to find Deloris and cared for her like a sister. I'm sure I must of met her when i was younger. She was a special lady whom left a lasting love on my moms heart.

Aunt Doe was special to our whole family - she was one of my mom's (Bertie Parrott Jones) best buddies. Mom told many stories to all of her children of the memories she had growing up with Aunt Doe and Aunt Nina in Chauncey, Illinois during the summer months. Aunt Doe remained close to us - even though she was miles away. Her visits were always filled with lots of singing, laughing, and of course, eating!
Her sweet voice, her beautiful songs, her playful laugh will stay with us forever. Heaven is rejoicing over her homecoming!
