Dellana Raye Johnson, 84, of Beaumont, CA passed away on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, in Beaumont, CA.
She is survived by her husband, Milton E. Johnson, her daughter, Kelle (Harold) Vollkommer, her son, Brent (Charis) Johnson, eight grandchildren, Ryan (Tamara) Vollkommer, Michael (Kelly) Vollkommer, Shane (Stephany) Blake, Daniel (Cheyenne) Vollkommer, Lindsy Blake, Allison (Ryan) Kovich, Abbey Vollkommer, and Tanner Johnson, and six great grandchildren, Lyla, Emma, Stevie, Mason, Brooks, and Ariella.
Dellana is preceded in death by Susan Johnson, her daughter (2008).
Dellana Johnson grew up in Highland, CA and graduated from Pacific High School in 1957. She married her high school sweetheart, Milton, on August 22nd, 1958. They were married for 65 years.
Dellana loved being a stay-at-home mom but was also involved in numerous activities that involved her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a Girl Scout leader as well as team mom for countless sports teams. Dellana had many hobbies beside her family. She loved painting, knitting, and sewing, in particular quilting. There was no craft she could not conquer. She was also an active member of Judson Baptist church for most of her life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 21st, 2023, at 11:00 am at Church on the Hill, 5500 Alessandro Blvd., Riverside, CA 92506. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at https://www.jdrf.org/.
