DAVID F. NILSON's Obituary
David F. Nilson of Sun Lakes Country Club, Ca passed away at home on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Nilson of Sun Lakes Counry Club, his son Brian David (Cathy) of Hemet, brother Bob Nilson (“Sis” Margaret) of San Bernardino, CA, and Three Perfect Grandchildren; Shanlee Marie, David Andrew, and Delanie Michele. David is also survived by many nieces and nephews. David was a retired bank vice president, having worked for 47 years in Southern California. He also served as the past president of Easter Seals of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, president of the American Institute of Banking of San Bernardino County, president of the Exchange Club of Rialto, was appointed by the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County to the County Service Area Advisory Commission in Lake Arrowhead, as well as being a member of the San Bernardino Rotary East and the Sun Lakes Country Club Friendship Club. David formerly taught at San Bernardino Valley College both Economics and Accounting for the A.I.B. and after retirement worked as an Instructional Assistant at Aliso Viejo High School.David was dearly loved and we will miss him so much. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only special people like David will leave lasting footprints in your heart. Memorial Services for David will be held on Friday, September 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Bobbitt Memorial Chapel at 1299 E. Highland Ave., in San Bernardino. With a private interment at the Riverside National Cemetery.
