DAVID DONALD MELLEN's Obituary
David D. Mellen, 78, beloved husband, brother, uncle and grandfather went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2008. A Crestline resident, he retired from the State Board of Equalization and currently served as president of Valley View Park Mutual Water Company. Most of all his faithful dedication to his Savior was an inspiration to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth and brother William. Survivors include: sisters Leila Rahm, Joan Prins, brother John Mellen, step children Rebecca Warren, Bill Howard, grandchildren: Lynn, Anna, Kim, Kevin, Chris and John, six great grandchildren, nieces Lorraine, Janice, Janet, Virginia, Kelsey, Kristy, Allison, nephews, Gary, Don, Edward, Tristen, Noel, William, Bill and numerous extended family and friends. Viewing will be Sunday February 10, 2008 from 3-6:00PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave, San Bernardino. Services will be Monday February 11, 2008 at 10:00AM at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 Baseline, Highland, CA 92346 with burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery staging area #1
