Mr David Correa's Obituary
David Correa, 49, of Palm Springs CA, passed away after a short but brave battle with cancer, on September 7, 2012. David was born in El Monte, CA to Juan and Delfina Correa one of eight children. He graduated from Rosemead High School where he was the school mascot!! He attended Mt San Antonio College in Walnut CA where he obtained his Associates Degree. He worked as a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, building Bank of America new stores all over the United States.
David loved sports, specifically gymnastics and truly enjoyed watching the Olympics in London. He was also an avid tennis fan. He loved to entertain and was a very sociable host at his homes in both Pasadena and Palm Springs. He is famous for his cooking of both family meals and Christmas celebrations. He loved his dogs and was specifically fond of Chows. He had a special bond with his most recent dog Anya.
He was preceded in death by his father Juan Correa.
He survived by his loving partner of 10 years Richard Ornelas, his mother Delfina Correa, and his siblings Mary Lou, Lola, Imelda, Marlina, John, Jo and Art. Also surviving him are his step children Amber, Jade and Eric and many nieces and nephews along with some very special friends.
