Maxine, Terry, Bob & Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you all and may God give you Peace & Comfort.
I know that there are so many people that felt that Dean-O was a special guy and he will be missed. Whenever you needed a chuckle at the office, you could always count on Dean to provide it. And most the time you'd head back to your desk shaking your head at what you just heard, but laughing all the way.
I've got great memories of golfing with dad and Dean and listening to Dean's ribbing on what a shitty golfer I was. Of course he was right because we would have to go off into the shrubs to retrieve alot of my shots. But it was a great time listening to their stories and more of Dean's jokes and just experiencing that friendship. My dad loved Dean like a brother and I'm pretty sure the feeling was mutual. (Of course you wouldn't hear either of them utter the words, but I know it was there.)
Dean was definitely one-in-a-million and had that unique way of delivering kind, sarcastic words whenever you might be feeling vulnerable -- which is what made him Dean-O. And to borrow one of his favorite terms of endearment, all I can say is "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES AND I'M GONNA MISS YOU, ASSHOLE."##imported-begin##Steve Gaffney##imported-end##
