Daniel Walter Williams' Obituary
Obituary for Daniel Walter Williams
Daniel Walter Williams was born on May 14, 1960 to Chad and Virginia (Ginger) Williams in San Bernardino, CA. Daniel entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2021 in Palm Springs, CA.
He is survived by his loving fiancé, Dianna Lee Moran, of Arrowbear, CA, his beloved children, Criston and Jason Moreno of Fontana, CA, Candice Williams, Chad Williams and Jessica Del Rosario of Colton, CA, his treasured grandchildren, Alayna, Emma, and Joseph Moreno, Jude Lopez, and Dean and Brody Williams, his best friend and brother, Victor Williams, sister-in-law, Sue Williams, and nieces, Moriah and Marissa, and nephew, Matthew Williams of Crestline, CA. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Chad and Ginger Williams.
A true outdoorsman, Danny loved hunting, camping, fishing, and dirt bike riding throughout his life, and more recently was introduced to biking and kayaking. What he enjoyed the most was playing a round of golf whenever he had a day off. Danny was a handyman who could fix almost anything in a house or vehicle. He was the kind of man who found joy in brightening someone’s day, whether it be with a joke or kind gesture, and would take the opportunity to do so whenever he had the chance.
Danny was a hardworking man who made his living in construction as an iron worker, and later in life as a truck driver. However, he found his true calling as a drug and alcohol counselor where his life experiences and wisdom inspired countless people to claim victory over their battle with addiction. The impact that his testimony made on the lives of the many people he counseled, befriended, and sponsored will always be a part of his legacy.
He was immeasurably proud of his family, and loved to spend time with them, and was looking forward to beginning a new chapter in his life with Diana Lee as his bride. Sadly, God had a different plan for Danny and he will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, October 15 at 11:00 am at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino and a Celebration of life reception will immediately follow.
