Mrs Crescencia Guitierrez Escajeda's Obituary
Crescencia (Gutierrez) Pedroza, Escajeda 1922 – 2013
Crescencia went peacefully to meet her Lord on January 7, 2013 at the age of 90. She was a lifelong resident of San Bernardino, where she attended local schools and raised her family.
At the age of 17, she married Rosalio Predroza and they had four daughters. A few years after a divorce from Mr. Pedroza, she met and married Jimmy Escajeda.
Crescencia was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Josefa Alvarado, her sister Maria Roque, her half brother Pedro Alvarado and her half sister, Elvira Fuentes.
She leaves behind a large loving family. Her husband of 35 years, Jimmy Escajeda, daughters Dolores (Jim) Pedroza Wheatley, Rosemary (James) Pedroza Tuten, Helen (Leo) Pedroza Burruel and Gloria Pedroza Rodriguez.
She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
For the last 60 years, Crescencia has been a devoted member of Templo Siloe A/G where she served as Sunday School teacher, leader of the Women’s Group and member of the Choir. She was a Christian Woman who loved her Lord and who will be missed by all who were lucky to have had her in their life.
