One of the last times I spoke with Grandma, she told me this story.
"Grandpa Del was working at the Boise Hotel, and I worked delivering milk & cream to that place. I saw him at the hotel then, but we never formally met. Then, G.W., Grandpa's dad, decided to take in a girl to spend time with his wife Ella. That girl was me! It wasn't love at first sight or even love at all, at first. He tried to change me and make me be like he wanted, of which I was having no part! He finally came around, and when Grandpa died, I lost a very dear friend."
