CORA LEE "CORKY" HORENBURG's Obituary
Cora Lee “Corky” Horenburg, 79, passed away in Riverside, CA on Thursday, January 15, 2009. She previously resided in Rialto and San Bernardino, graduating from Hemet High School in 1947 and attended San Bernardino Valley College. Corky was involved with the Woman’s Club in Rialto. She enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas, camping with friends and family at the sand dunes, Sudoku, puzzles and baking. Family meant everything to her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; son, Bruce; parents, Louis and Hazel Bettis; brothers, James, Louis and sister Janith. She is survived by her son, Alan (Willie) Horenburg of San Bernardino, daughter, Cathy (Tom) Urban of Pinon Hills, daughter in law, Nancy Horenburg; 7 grandchildren, Diana, Rachel (Chris), Dawnette (Daniel), Casey (Justin), Nicole, Jessica, Jennifer; 8 great-grandchildren, Julissa, Makayli, Alexander, Joshua, Samantha, Jacob, Blake, Angelena; sisters, Mary, Donna (Chuck); in laws, Rosemarie, Dick and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Inurnment will be private.
