Clifford Ray “Tex” Ellis
Age 93 passed away July 30, 2018 in San Bernardino, California.
Born in Centerville, Texas on March 16, 1925.
Arrived in San Bernardino at the age of 16. Graduated from San Bernardino HighSchool.
Received multiple medals while serving in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe.
Cliff worked as a machinist at Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years.
He was married to Rachel (Verdone) Ellis for 64 years before her death in 2011.
Survived by Daughters: Judi Gray (Folsom, CA) and Donna Nelson (David) (Highland, CA).
Three grandchildren Gemma Franck (Sacramento, CA) Gina (Danny) Daynes (San Bernardino, CA)
Christopher (Karri) Nelson (Fontana, CA) five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Service held at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 6.
