CLEDA WALTER STROHAUER
Former San Bernardino Resident
Cleda Strohauer, 97, died on 9-24-10 at Lake Isabella, CA from heart failure. She was born in Crosbyton, TX, but lived most of her life in San Bernardino. She worked as a civil service employee for 14 years. She was a faithful member and long-time organist at the Central Christian Church in San Bernardino. She moved to Kern County in 1997 to be near her daughter. She was preceeded in death by husband Richard Suttle in 1962 and second husband Fred Strohauer in 1994. She is survived by daughter, Janet Kutzner and son-in law Wesley of Havilah, CA, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino on Thursday. Graveside services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton on Friday at 12 noon.
