CLARK PAUL MOLSTAD
1946-2021
Clark Paul Molstad was born on October 13, 1946 in Rugby, North Dakota. His twin brother, Clay, was born minutes after. Parents, Bert and Arlene Molstad settled down in Fargo, North Dakota, where Bert worked for Great Northern Railroad and Arlene finished college to teach elementary grades.
Attending UND for two years, Clark then joined VISTA (the domestic peace corps) and was sent to San Diego for training, then assigned to a project in South Central Los Angeles, near USC. After his one year term of service, Clark enrolled at Cal State University, Los Angeles, and finished his BA in 1970. Earning his Ph.D. in Sociology at UCLA, Clark took a position as Assistant Professor of Management at California State University, San Bernardino. Clark was promoted and tenured in 1989 and was a Professor of Management until his retirement in 2011.
Clark passed away on June 7, 2021 and is survived by his brother, Clay, a retired internist living in Pensacola, Florida.
