CLARENCE MURRAY DISHAROON's Obituary
Clarence “Murray” Disharoon, 91, died at his home in San Bernardino, Friday February 23rd 2007. Murray was born in Villa Ridge, Missouri, Sept 13, 1915. After college he taught high school in southeast Missouri. In June 1941 he joined the Navy Air Force and served as an instrument flight instructor until Feb ‘44. He was stationed on Tinian in the Marianas when the Enola Gay delivered the first atomic bomb to end the war with Japan. He met and married Navy Wave Andree, his beloved spouse in 1943. Following discharge from the Navy in 1945 he received his Masters Degree in Mathematics from Washington University St. Louis. Following 11 years teaching in Chicago, he moved to California where he completed 22 years teaching at Golden Valley Middle School. His hobbies were playing bridge, mountain hiking, gardening, and dabbling in the Stock Market. He is survived by his wife Andy of 63 years; his son David of Frankfurt Germany; his daughter Donna White (Bill); of Orange California; his son Dale of Concord MA and 5 grandchildren. Visitation will take placed today (Tuesday Feb 27th) 5pm – 7pm. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb 28, 2007 both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
