Clarence (Jim) P. Bowie's Obituary
Clarence (Jim) P. Bowie, 79, of Fontana, CA was called home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2017. Clarence was born on October 16, 1937 in Hilltop, Maryland. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, supervisor, and superintendent for the County of San Bernardino for 35 years and was a resident of San Bernardino County for over 60 years. He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Crouse and brother Andy Bowie of Nanjemoy MD. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Bowie, daughter Rhonda and husband David Marks, of Fontana, CA, son Norman and wife Kristine Bowie, of Dolores, CO, 4 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, brothers William Crouse Jr and Walter Crouse, of Nanjemoy, MD. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 29th, 5:00pm at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. A church service will be Friday, June 30th, 10:00 a.m. at First Christian Church of San Bernardino, 2102 E. Foothill Dr, san Bernardino CA 92404. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
