Christopher Lee “Larger Than Life” Campbell of San Bernardino, CA passed away on February 24th, 2018 in Lake Mead, NV. Chris was born on November 27th, 1965 in San Bernardino, CA to Bennie Campbell and Mary (Lucy) Christie. Chris graduated from Tehachapi High School in 1984. Chris had a love for animals that started at a young age. He was often referred to as the animal whisperer. His passion for animals included his beloved rottweilers (Brutus and Tank) and his lions, tigers and bears. Chris would go out of his way to help anyone in need to include any and all walks of life. Chris’ door was always open to all and you would be greeted with a big smile, a cold beer and a few shenanigans. Chris lived his life to the fullest and was always surrounded by family and friends. You only had to meet Chris one time to have and instant bond for life. He had a heart of gold and his love for his family and friends was like no other. He is survived by the love of his life Johnna Clasby; his son Matthew Pineda; his stepsons Gregory and Raymond Gammon: his granddaughter Leighton; his parents Bennie and Lisa Campbell and Jerry and Mary (Lucy) Christie; his sisters Kimberly Perez ( husband Sonny) and Lori Anderson; his brother Danny Campbell and stepbrother Michael Stewart; his nieces Desiree Perez, Lacey Doty and Autumn Board; his nephews Ryan Campbell, Nathan Soto and Mathew Anderson; his great nieces Ryan, Blakely, Bristol and Savannah; his great nephews Luke, Ashton, William and Bennett; his numerous cousins who referred to him as “Critter”; his numerous Aunts and Uncles and best friend (brother) Rodney Martinez. He was preceded in death by his nephew Ricky Anderson. Chris will be greatly missed by all.
Food will be provided and per Chris Campbell’s request "BYOB".
