Oh, I had no idea Christie had passed. She was a wonderful person. I agree with Michelle, in that she was a gracious person. I vividely remember what happy and pleasant person she was, always smiling. I am so sorry for the loss.

I worked with Christie for three years from 1992 - 1995 while assigned to Intake. What a kind and gracious co-worker she was. I never heard an unkind word despite stress levels that could sometimes be high in a confined environment. She was always a lady, a team player and a caring and compassionate officer toward the kids we served. She was a devoted and loving mom and crazy about her grandson. One of my most vivid memories, however, is when I ran into her after I no longer worked there. She told me about Larry, the love of her life. She was the happiest I had ever seen her and with a twinkle in her eye she assured me that "it can happen to anyone! You just gotta be patient." She will be missed by a lot of people.
