Charles Richard Terhune's Obituary
Charles Richard Terhune, 85, of San Bernardino, passed away on January 24, 2013.
Charlie was born in Nyack, NY on May 29, 1927. He graduated from Park Ridge High School in New Jersey. After high school he proudly served in the U.S. Army for nine years.
Charlie was married to Edith A. Granowski for 43 years. After Edith’s death in 1993, he married Jeannette Martitz. She passed away in 2012.
Charlie worked for a trucking company for many years. During his retirement, he worked at Del Rosa Bowl. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, watching game shows, and reading. He loved his home at Leisure Point and made many good friends there.
Charlie is survived by his children, C. Frank Terhune of Wind Gap PA, Patricia A. Terhune of New Brunswick, NJ, Linda T. Etzel of Beaumont, CA, and Michael P. Terhune of Killeen, TX, stepdaughter Christine Rose and stepson William Martitz. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Charlie’s sweet and lovable nature will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
