Charles Leroy Cole's Obituary
Charles L. Cole, 80, passed away on June 23, 2009 at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, CA. Charles was a lifetime resident of San Bernardino prior to moving to Sun Lakes approximately 10 years ago.
Charles worked as a Civil Engineer his whole working life. He was a member of Deep Creek Fly Fisherman and The Federation of Fly Fisherman – being past president of both organizations.
He is survived by Jeanne, his loving wife of 57 years, his daughter Mary Diaz of Beaumont, son Richard Cole (April) of Moreno Valley, and daughter Susan Sanders of San Bernardino, sister Phyllis and niece Carolyn, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday June 26th, 2009 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404 at 5-7 p.m. A Private Graveside service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park at a later date.
