Mr Charles John Boutsikaris' Obituary
Charles John Boutsikaris, 96, passed away on June 7, 2015 in San Bernardino, CA. Born in Washington, DC, Charles spent his formative years in Greece; he returned to the United States and later honorably served his country during WWII in the US Army. He spent the majority of his working career as a salesman in the beverage industry. Charles had lived in the San Bernardino area for 58 years and was a long time member of Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church.
He was preceded in death by Marianna, his beloved wife of 31 years, who passed in 1978.
He is survived by his children John (Jan) Boutsikaris of Texas, Denise (Stephen) Oller of Riverside and Carol Gardenhire of Grand Terrace. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Charles (Rachel), Chelsea, Marianna, Stephani (Mark), Marianna (Dan), Lisa Marie and Michael Charles, his great grandchild Bentley Jason and his siblings, Harry, George, Helen, Constandinos, Panayiotis, and Vera along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Charles’s memory to the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church at the above address.
Charles was deeply loved by his family, his church family, his friends and will be greatly missed.
