CHARLES "CHUCK" A. DUERBECK's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Duerbeck, 74, passed away March 22, 2007 at home. Chuck was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and resided in San Bernardino for the last 34 years. He retired as a Deputy County Counsel from the County of San Bernardino where he served for over 34 years. Chuck received his Jurist Doctorate from Southwestern University and served as President of the California Construction Lawyer’s Association. Also he served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and belonged to the San Dimas Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. Chuck was a member of the California State Bar. He is survived by his wife Eloys Duerbeck of San Bernardino, and his children, Erik and Ellen Duerbeck both of San Bernardino. He is also survived by his granddaughter Lacey Ranslow and sister Nora Lee Ransier of Parker ,AZ .Viewing will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Chapel services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel with interment at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, Staging Area # 3.
