Carolyn F. Lockridge 89, passed away on 8/10/16 in Loma Linda. She is survived by her son, Larry (Barbara) of Highland; daughter, Lora Goritz (Mike) of Redlands; grandchildren: Michael, Kara, Camille Goritz and Matthew Lockridge. Read Obituary
She always sent a Christmas card with family information and pictures when she had them to send. She always mentioned how good her family was to her.

What great memories I have of Mama Lew!!!! Im so sorry for your loss Lew and Little Lew. I love you all and Im praying for you during this difficult time. I loved how she used to call me Scotto and how her house was like a motel or dorm room for us PHS guys. Great food but most of all great love that she showered on everyone she came into contact with. It was great seeing her two years ago at my Aunt Macs funeral as they went to high school together. I wish I could attend the funeral and I hear Randy is going to do the service. He is a the best!!!! I will be united with all of you in prayer that day. It is the first day of school and I will have all the girls at Notre Dame Academy pray for all you !!!! God bless Scotto
Carolyn, better known as "Mama Lew" to Scott Kay, and me (Randy Rodden) in our high school years at Pacific High School, was a bit part of our lives. I have wonderful memories of Mama and Papa Lew (Walt) cheering us on at our high school basketball games. Letting Larry drive us in "The Green Machine" to our basketball games. Or fixing us something to eat when we got hungry after a hard day of swimming in their pool. Or the times they walked down to my mom and dad's house to play cards with my parents for the evening. Whatever was going on with Larry,"baby Lew", (named after Lew Alcindor who played at UCLA at the time) Scott or me "Mama Lew" was in the middle of it. Miss those days and especially you Mama Lew.
You were an amazing woman! I'm going to miss our talks! May you rest in peace!
