Carole Ann Skelton's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carole Skelton, who left this world on July 17, 2025, in Redlands, CA, at the age of 76.
A dedicated and compassionate nurse for 40 years, Carole retired in 2016. She embraced her retirement with passion, fulfilling a lifelong dream with a three-week European vacation in 2018, creating memories she cherished.
Her final years were a testament to her incredible strength. Following a diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia in 2021, Carole faced numerous health challenges with remarkable courage. Despite enduring painful falls that resulted in a broken back, shoulder, and hip, she fought hard through every surgery and recovery. Ultimately, her body succumbed to complications from recurring infections.
Carole was a wonderful mother. With her former husband, Frank Skelton, she raised two sons, teaching them the values of strength and love.
She is survived by her loving children, David Skelton and Jeffrey Skelton. She was not only a mother but a dear friend to her sons, and her warmth and presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Carole's life on July 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino, CA.
