C. WILLIAM BRUMWELL's Obituary
C. William “Bill” Brumwell, 87, of San Bernardino, passed away on June 9, 2007, at his home. Formerly a resident of Hollywood, CA, he had lived in San Bernardino for the past 14 years. He was born in Joplin, MO, in 1919. He served as a Radio Operator and Mechanic for the 8th Airdrome Squadron in WWII. He was a bus driver for the RTD/MTA of Los Angeles for 35 years. Bill was an avid bowler and golfer, participating in several Southern California leagues and tournaments; earning a variety of trophies and awards. Bill is survived by his wife, Marlene, of San Bernardino; a stepson, Ronald Masinda and his wife, Connie of MA; a stepdaughter, Lori Jones and her husband, Walt of FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held, at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue. Interment will be private.
