Buster Lee Burris' Obituary
Buster was born February 5, 1926 in Ft. Collins Colorado. His family then moved to San Bernardino. He attended San Bernardino schools. When he graduated, he immediately joined the Navy and after basic training went to the South Pacific. After being discharged, he met his wife Marilyn to whom he was married to for 73 years. They had two children, Ronald who preceded him in death and Kathryn who resides in Highland.
Buster taught industrial and vocational auto shop for 20 years at S.B. High School. After that, he and Marilyn worked as a team investing in various businesses in the local area.
Buster was at home in Highland when he peacefully went to a better place on July 5, 2021 with his loved ones at his side.
Buster will be laid to rest privately at Montecito Memorial Park. To honor a life well lived, a memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at the Elks club 2055 Elks Dr., San Bernardino, CA 92404.
