Our family and our church have said so many prayers over the years to heal Bob from this dreadful illness. He was my uncle and my God parent and I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with Bob and the family as a little girl. It was with great saddness that I read of Bob's passing in the local paper. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish you strength and courage in the days ahead. I hope that peace comes to you sooner rather than later.
I never got to enjoy a lesson with Bob; truly my loss. He'll be remembered as a warm and caring ski instructor and kind man who brigntened my days as a ski patroller at Snow Valley.

My prayers have been constant as you have been in my thoughts all week. I am so grateful we have reconnected the last few years and that we were able to spend time with Bob and you in Wausau and that we have been able to share this journey with you. I thank our Lord for your strong faith and understanding. My sadness is diminished by the knowledge that Bob had his "new life" in his sights and was ready for it. We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bob will always be in my heart. I still remember Uncle Bob asking me at the age of 15 if I would like to drive 'his' Porsche around Orange. Just the thought of it scared me beyond belief! After all these years I continue to cherish a gift Uncle Bob gave me. Also, I was so honored to have the two of you here in Seattle.

It is very difficult to think of Bob as not being here with us.
I have many fond memories going back to my earliest recollections. One is of Bobby putting up the hymn numbers in the old Buffalo church that has since been torn down. Another is of a dinner at your house in Orange with Bob and Albert topping each other with Norwegian stories.
There must be quite a reunion going on now!
If he is with God,

As much as it saddens us to hear the news, we know Bob is now resting peacefully. It seemed so sudden as we were planning to have another Dim Sum feast soon. We certainly have been beneficiaries to Bob's kindness & generosity. His strength throughout his battle with cancer is inspirational to Jeff's current battle with cancer. We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, we loved him very much. He was such an outgoing, jovial and fun person to be with. Watching him on the slopes was quite an event for he so loved being there.
