Mr Billy James Matthews' Obituary
Billy James Matthews, 68, of Redlands, passed away unexpectedly, of natural causes with his family at his side, on Monday, October 15, 2012.
Billy was born in San Bernardino to John and Ruby Matthews, youngest of four boys–George (deceased), Jay and Clint. He graduated from SBHS, class of 1962. Billy was avid snow skier and member of the Tyrolean Ski Club and recently enjoyed parasailing in Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Evelyn; daughter, Jane Cee of San Francisco; son Kevin Matthews, his wife Angela and much loved grandson Kai of Kaneohe, Hawaii; granddaughter Judith; many loving nieces, nephews and good, dear friends.
Billy was the owner and operator of BJ Construction for more than 40 years, a San Bernardino, asphalt paving company.
He will always be remembered as a faithful, loving husband; devoted brother, father, grandfather, uncle and good friend to many.
