Bill and Ellen lived across the street from us the whole time I was growing up. His Dad, Virgil, owned the liquor store at the top of our street. I loved watching Bill restore old cars. He was good! Many of them were showcased in magazines. My sister and I occasionally babysat Corby and Jonathan. I have lots of childhood memories with Bill, Ellen, Virgil and Evelyn. My Mom, Sharon Spencer, was good friends with them. She passed in April 2024, at the age of 87. Peace be to all of them. I am very sorry for your loss.
